Swee Peng came on board on 1 October 2007 as a Tax Director to oversee our firm’s tax training needs. Prior to joining us, she was an Accredited Senior Tax Specialist from the Tax Policy & Ruling Branch of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and has 20 years of working experience with IRAS.
Swee Peng has handled policy issues relating to the insurance industry, Global Traders Programme, Group Relief System, and was involved in the development of tax changes such as the Loss Carry Back Relief System, Deduction for Treasury Shares transferred under the Employee Equity-based Remuneration Scheme and Tax Exemption Scheme for Approved Captive Insurers.
She was also one of the trainers in IRAS for both the In-depth Training Course and Advance Course on Income Tax, with many years of personal and corporate tax assessment experience.
