Lee Meng joined the audit department of Arthur Young & Company (predecessor firm of Ernst & Young) in 1980. He left Arthur Young in 1984 to become the group financial controller of a substantial property and investment group. In 1988, he became a partner of Chio Lim Stone Forest (CLSF). He is currently a senior partner of CLSF. He also heads the China Practice Group of the firm.
Besides being the partner-in-charge for a portfolio of clients for assurance services, Lee Meng was the reporting accountant for a number of IPOs. He also advises companies on corporate restructuring and cross-border tax planning.
Lee Meng won the Lianhe Zaobao’s consultancy award in 1990. He is the co-author of the “Singapore Tax Compliance Manual” published by CCH Asia Pte Ltd. He has been invited annually to comment on the government budget and is a frequent speaker at public seminars and conferences.
Outside his profession, Lee Meng is the independent director of six listed companies in Singapore, three of which he is serving as Chairman of the Audit Committee. He is also a board member of the Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore (CRA). |
