Michael began his career with Arthur Andersen in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he handled the audit and initial public offering assignments of several listed companies in Malaysia from various industries such as construction, property development, trading, services and manufacturing.
In 1998, Michael joined KPMG (Singapore) as Audit Manager. In his 6 years with KPMG, Michael led and handled the audit and business advisory assignments of Singapore listed and multinational companies from various industries which include oil and gas, and others as mentioned above. He was also involved in other areas of audit-related work such as regional coordination, IPO-related assignments as well as financial due diligence.
Michael joined Chio Lim Stone Forest as Senior Manager in 2004 and was promoted to Director the following year. Apart from leading audit and IPO assignments to a diverse portfolio of clients, he was also involved in financial due diligence and transaction support services such as valuation of companies, litigation support and various advisory assignments relating to mergers and acquisitions. |
