In May 2006, RSM International signed a one-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore) to help internationalising Singapore companies with initial complimentary taxation and market setup advisory support.

This private-public partnership provided the platform for internationally active Singapore companies to seek initial consultation relating to doing business in the 70 countries that RSM has offices in.

Over 1,000 participants benefited from various seminars and events thoughout the year where RSM experts from Russia, India, the U.S., Korea, Indonesia, Australia and China were invited to speak. In a survey conducted by IE Singapore, Singapore companies gave positive feedback on RSM’s expertise and customer-centric philosophy. There was also heightened awareness of RSM’s network of international offices and their capabilities. In a strong show of confidence for RSM, on 28 May 2007, the MOU was renewed for a further two years with expanded scope.
