Changes from 1 September 2020
From 1 September 2020, the minimum qualifying salary for Employment Pass and S Pass holders will be raised as part of the government’s drive to foster a strong Singaporean core, especially in the financial sector.
The minimum qualifying salary will be raised from $3,900 to $4,500 and $2,400 to $2,500, for new Employment Pass and S Pass respectively. Separately, for the financial service sector, the minimum will be raised to $5,000 with effect from 1 December 2020.
The salary criteria for different age groups, more experienced candidates will also be raised in tandem. The new salary criteria will apply to renewal applications from 1 May 2021. Read More
